BLISS LIST

a long effortless run
baking cookies on a rainy day
a long hug from someone you love
hot tea before retiring for bed
getting rid of clutter
the melody of rain drops on your bedroom window
singing in the shower
singing in the car
a kiss on the check
a piece of dark chocolate
flowers
the sound of autumn leaves under you feet as you walk/run
the first warmth of the sun after a long winter
freshly fallen snow
the swooshing sound of the basketball net after your perfect shoot
the smell of popcorn
feeling your lovers bare skin against yours
cold water on a hot day
a hot bath when your sick
clean sheets on your bed
laughing so hard your stomach hurts
surprises
the sweet feeling of helping someone in need
completing the project
beautifying your home
having the spirit testify to you of the savior
a back scratch in sacrament meeting
the security you feel when holding hands with the one you love
hugs and kisses from your babies
the anticipation of something exciting
the first smile
knowing your family is yours forever

Still a Romancer

To my hubby who sent me these beautiful roses:

So many people loose their romance as time goes on. I married a man who is still courting me by sweeping me off my feet with surprise flowers. Oh, how I appreciate his hard work for our family and then. . . he still makes time to make me feel like a special woman.

Love your wife

My hubby suggested I try using some of the different features my came
ra offers. This picture above is taken with the macro option. The picture below is taken using one of the color options.

Love

"It is this intangible thing love, love in many forms, which enters into every therapeutic relationship. It is an element of which the physician may be the carrier, the vessel. And it is an element which comforts and restores, which works what we have to call, for now, miracles."

Cosette's First Haircut

It's one of my babies milestones in her life to have her first haircut. She was so adorable and well behaved. I can't get enough of that smile.

I never thought to do my daughters hair in a Topsy Tail. . .how cute, I think I will do this at home to.

The playground made the experience more then just a first haircut.

Cosette's 1st Birthday in Calgary

We had a wonderful time celebrating Cosette's first birthday in Calgary with the Locking family. It was a balloon party! She loved her first time angel food cake and a smoothie. Mommy made the mistake of feeding her smoothie before she ate her dinner.

I hope my baby girl continues to love books as much as she does now. You can see her love as she gets lost in the books at her own party.

Thank-you to everyone for all the gifts! Cosette is enjoy every one.

It's a funny thing having a birthday party for your one year old because they won't remember it and don't understand much. My conclusion is it's a party for the parents. It's so remarkable to see your little one go through the first year of life. All the simple things they learn are so joyous for
you to see. From the first smile to the first step. How happy those times are. Plus you have to celebrate the fact that you made it through the first year of being a parent.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Wheeler Farm Field Trip

Today we went to Wheeler Farm! If you have never heard of it the link is below, so check it out. We went with a group of Mom's and their kids, which you can see in the wagon picture. Cosette had a lot more fun then I thought she would. Her favorite was the goats that licked her hand and the wagon.
